Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trip Maker, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds for bookings made through our company.

1. Booking Cancellation by Customer

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email, WhatsApp, or other official communication channels of Trip Maker.

The cancellation date shall be considered the date on which the cancellation request is received by Trip Maker.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges may vary depending on the destination, hotel policy, airline policy, transport provider, and package type.

Domestic Tour Packages

3. Flight, Train & Visa Cancellation

  • Flight tickets are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the respective airline.

  • Train ticket refunds are governed by Indian Railways or the relevant railway authority.

  • Visa fees, visa processing charges, and government fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Convenience fees, service charges, and transaction fees are non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed only after receiving refunds from hotels, airlines, transport operators, and other suppliers wherever applicable.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment whenever possible.

  • Refund processing may take up to 45 working days from the cancellation date, depending on supplier policies and banking procedures.

  • No interest shall be payable on any refund amount.

5. No Show Policy

If a traveler fails to join the tour, misses a flight, train, transfer, or does not utilize booked services without prior notice, it will be considered a No Show.

In such cases:

  • No refund shall be provided.

  • Unused services cannot be transferred or adjusted.

6. Amendment & Rescheduling

Any request for modification, date change, or rescheduling of a booking is subject to availability and supplier approval.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Change of travel dates

  • Hotel modifications

  • Passenger name corrections

  • Transport changes

  • Upgrade requests

7. Cancellation by Trip Maker

Trip Maker reserves the right to cancel any booking due to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Government restrictions

  • Political unrest

  • Pandemic-related regulations

  • Operational reasons beyond our control

In such cases, customers may be offered:

  • An alternative travel date

  • A credit note for future travel

  • A refund, subject to supplier refund policies

Trip Maker shall not be liable for any indirect expenses such as flight tickets, visa fees, personal purchases, or other incidental costs.

8. Force Majeure

No refund or compensation shall be payable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Floods

  • Landslides

  • Earthquakes

  • Cyclones

  • Pandemics

  • Government restrictions

  • War

  • Strikes

  • Civil disturbances

Refunds in such situations will depend entirely on the policies of the respective service providers.

9. Special Packages & Promotional Offers

Bookings made under:

  • Flash Sales

  • Promotional Offers

  • Group Departures

  • Festival Packages

  • Honeymoon Specials

  • Peak Season Packages

may be partially refundable or completely non-refundable, as specified at the time of booking.
